Front Desk Agent

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Kana Kuta Hotel Bali, located in the vibrant heart of Kuta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in creating the first and lasting impression for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest services, as well as maintaining accurate administration to ensure operational accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and providing a seamless check-in and check-out experience, including verifying reservations, processing registration, processing payments and handling any billing discrepancies or special requests
• Assisting guests with inquiries and responding to guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, working towards satisfactory resolutions
• Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly
• Maintaining accurate records of guest information, room assignments and special requests in the property management system

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a front office and/or guest-relations role in a hotel setting

• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written); additional languages are a plus

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to remain calm, patient and professional under pressure

• Comfortable in conversing with foreign guests

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Able to drive a car (manual transmission) and holds car driving license (SIM A)

• Able to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night), in weekends and public holidays as required

• Disciplined and highly committed to the job

• Good work ethics, respectful attitude, honest
