Front Desk Agent

The Guest Services Agent is responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for hotel guests by providing exceptional customer service throughout the guest experience. This position greets and registers guests, processes arrivals and departures, handles guest requests and concerns, promotes hotel services and amenities, and ensures all guest accounts are accurate. The Guest Services Agent serves as a key point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service while supporting hotel operations and revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Complete the guest registration process by accurately entering and retrieving information from the property management system.
• Confirm guest information, room type, rate, and length of stay.
• Assign accommodations based on guest needs and hotel availability.
• Issue and program room keys.
• Explain hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and guest room locations.
• Promote and enroll guests in brand loyalty programs such as Hilton Honors.
• Identify opportunities to upgrade room types and promote hotel services to maximize revenue.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries in person, by telephone, email, text messaging platforms, and other communication channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• College coursework or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Experience

• One (1) to two (2) years of guest service, front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
