Front Desk Agent

Comfort Hotel Vancouver Airport is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Full-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team.

This position is 5 shifts per week. Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work a combination of day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be one of the first points of contact for our guests and play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive hotel experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
• Process reservations, payments, deposits, and other guest transactions
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest questions and requests
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, transportation, and the local area
• Assist with guest concerns and work toward timely and appropriate resolutions
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, reservations, and front desk records
• Assist with airport shuttle inquiries and scheduling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
• Complete assigned front desk duties and shift responsibilities

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills
• Is friendly, professional, dependable, and punctual
• Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Can remain calm and professional when handling busy periods or guest concerns
• Has good attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Is comfortable handling payments and completing transactions accurately
• Has previous hotel, front desk, or customer service experience; hotel experience is preferred but not required
• Is willing to learn and take initiative

Please note that this position is best suited to candidates who can maintain flexible availability rather than those who are only available for a specific shift or limited days of the week.
