Front Desk Agent

Job Summary

Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hotel management operations, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Bilingual abilities and experience in hospitality management are highly valued to enhance guest relations and support our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
• Handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette while addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software
• Provide guest services such as concierge assistance, luggage handling, and local recommendations
• Support guest relations by resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive stay experience
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest expectations
• Uphold the standards of hospitality management and ensure compliance with hotel policies

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel or front desk operations preferred
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse guest base
• Familiarity with front desk systems, reservation software
• Experience in hospitality or resort environments is a plus
• Knowledge of guest relations, and hotel operations will be beneficial
