Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier resort. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, addressing any concerns to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests.
• Process reservations using hotel management software and manage room assignments effectively.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
• Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate departments.

Skills

• Strong background in guest relations with experience in hospitality or hotel management preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Proficiency in front desk operations, including handling reservations and conducting night audits.
• Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
