Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their experience at our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information regarding their stay.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to assist guests effectively.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist with reservations and provide information on room availability and rates.
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and messages.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting is a plus.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on guest relations and communication.
• Proficiency in hospitality management software is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
