Front Desk Agent - FT

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.

• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.

• Verify guest information, collect payments, and issue room keys.

• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries.

• Make, modify, and cancel reservations as needed.

• Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and dining options.

• Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.

• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information.

• Balance cash drawer and process daily transactions according to hotel procedures.

• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Monitor room availability and occupancy status.

• Assist with luggage storage, package handling, and other guest services as needed.

• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• Complete shift reports and communicate important information during shift transitions.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn property management systems.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
