We are looking for a reliable, independent, and detail-oriented Night Shift Agent to join our team and keep our operations running smoothly through the night.

Job Summary
As a Night Shift Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our hotel during the overnight hours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, possesses excellent time-management skills, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage basic financial transactions, prepare our morning breakfast, and ensure the lobby and common areas are clean and welcoming for the day ahead.

What you are responsible for:

• Guest Relations: Provide excellent customer service and communication. Check guests in and out efficiently, address guest issues or complaints with empathy, and escalate major concerns to management.
• Financial Accountability: Count the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, reconcile transactions, and perform secure cash drops.
• Breakfast Preparation: Set out our continental breakfast and heat up hot breakfast items to ensure a fresh start for our morning guests.
• Operations & Reporting: Complete daily checklists, monitor and report on any inventory shortages (breakfast items, cleaning supplies, etc.), and restock our lobby vending store.
• Property Management: Learn and navigate our Property Management System (PMS) to manage reservations, room assignments, and guest billing and night audit.
• Facility Upkeep: Perform basic cleaning tasks in common areas (lobby, front desk, breakfast area) and complete daily tasks such as completing cleaning sheets to keep operations organized.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, but *we are willing to train the right candidate* who has a great attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills are required. Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a major plus.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, stay self-motivated, and manage your time effectively during quiet hours.
• Problem-Solving: Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional when resolving guest complaints.
