About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Front Desk & Assistant General Manager to join our management team on a contract basis in Badung, Bali. This is a unique opportunity to take on a multifaceted leadership role that combines front-line guest services with strategic management responsibilities. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations at our front desk whilst supporting the General Manager in overseeing the broader operations of our establishment. This position requires someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, strong operational expertise, and the ability to lead and inspire team members across multiple departments. Your contributions will directly impact guest satisfaction, staff morale, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations and ensure all guest check-ins and check-outs are processed efficiently and courteously
• Manage guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
• Supervise and mentor front desk staff, conducting training sessions and performance evaluations
• Monitor and maintain front desk systems, including reservation software and guest management platforms
• Support revenue management initiatives and assist in forecasting occupancy rates
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle administrative tasks including staffing schedules, payroll coordination, and budget monitoring
• Represent the establishment professionally in all guest interactions and community engagements
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes at the management level

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a front desk management or hotel operations role, preferably in a hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are highly desirable
• Proficiency with hotel management systems and reservation software
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure
• Comprehensive understanding of hospitality standards, guest service excellence, and operational best practices
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for revenue management and budget oversight
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards
• Experience in a similar role at a reputable hospitality establishment is advantageous
