Front Desk Associate

Sunbury Family Eyecare is hiring! Growing optometry practice is seeking a full-time (~30 hours a week) employee. No optometry experience necessary, will train dependable applicants who possess excellent people skills. Duties include but not limited to: scheduling, phones, pre-testing patients, and working with eyeglasses and contact lenses. Candidate should be familiar with computers and have a high-school diploma or equivalent. There will be some evening hours (until 7:00pm) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00am-12:00pm). ***Hourly rate of pay based on experience.*** Prefer candidates to fill out our application, message to request and call 740-965-1165 with any questions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vision tests and assess patients' optical health.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Process sales transactions and manage inventory effectively.
• File and post insurance claims and payments.
• Accounts payable
• Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
• Provide education on proper eyewear care and usage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27.0 – 34.0 per week
