Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will handle various tasks including managing reservations, processing payments, and addressing guest inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Manage reservations efficiently through our booking system.
• Process payments accurately using a cash register and handle any financial transactions.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Promote hotel services and amenities through effective upselling techniques.
• Conduct product demonstrations for guests when applicable, showcasing available services or promotions.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a positive first impression.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed to maintain high service standards.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Proficient in cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction handling.
• Ability to sell hotel services effectively and engage in upselling opportunities.
• Experience in retail sales or related fields is advantageous.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations over the phone.
• Capable of conducting product demos effectively to promote services or products offered by the hotel.
• Leadership skills for supervising team members when required.
