The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service while ensuring the smooth daily operation of the hotel front desk. This position includes guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, and assisting with laundry duties as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Check guests in and out efficiently
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
• Make and modify reservations
• Process payments and balance cash drawer
• Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas
• Stock front desk supplies and breakfast items as needed
• Assist with hotel laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Help housekeeping when necessary
• Follow hotel safety and security procedures
• Complete daily shift reports and communicate important information to management and staff

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods

Schedule

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Morning, evening, and night shifts may be required

Work Environment

This position requires frequent interaction with guests and staff and may involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
