Front Desk Associate

Overview
Join our dynamic retail team as a Front Desk Associate and become the friendly face that customers rely on! This position is Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm and Rotating Saturdays as needed during deer season (October through January 8:30 am to 2:00 pm) Duties include maintaining the retail area and customer service tasks such as placing orders, scheduling, and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Maintain organized retail area
• Assist in grocery store-related tasks such as stocking and reordering
• Handle phone inquiries for orders and scheduling professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Invoice customer orders
• Assist with packing shipping orders

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on excellent phone etiquette and customer engagement
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is advantageous
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience in a grocery environment is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
