Front Desk Associate

Position: Front Desk Associate, Part-Time

Reports to: Gym Manager

Job Summary
Serves a first point of customer service contact. Responsible for making a positive and lasting first impression when interacting with members, guests, prospects, and vendor contacts, whether in person or over the phone. Ensures active promotion of events and services.

Duties & Responsibilities
● Greets all members and guests, primarily by name
● Day to day reception tasks
● Ensure that all clients and members have an exceptional experience
● Supports Gym Operations manager in planning and execution of REVO events
● Thorough knowledge of the Mindbody system and how REVO uses it
● Handles customer service issues efficiently, professionally, thoroughly and in a friendly manner
● Answers and directs all incoming phone calls
● Knowledgeable about Program offerings, ex: Classes, Personal Training, Physical Therapy, Massage, Sports

Performance Lab and Retail
● Responsible for keeping the Reception desk and lobby area clean, neat, orderly, and stocked with supplies
● Responsible for being aware and having knowledge of all Special Events
● Possesses product knowledge and sells retail items
● Makes sure the PT treatment areas/rooms are clean and stocked with all supplies from supply list
● Assist with data collection and documentation for clinic/gym metrics
● Performs daily closeout/opening tasks systematically and on time
● Attends departmental meetings when scheduled
● Clocks in and out both timely and accurately
● Assists in maintaining a clean and operational facility
● Advocates for REVO at ALL times, upholds its mission and complies with all policies and procedures
● Displays a professional and enthusiastic attitude
● Arrives for work in dress code compliant attire and ready to work, on time

Qualifications

● Tenacious and enthusiastic about health and wellness
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Organizational skills
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to multi-task and work independently
● Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary
● Must be able to work morning or evening shift
● Ability to work in a fast paced environment
● Experience in customer service preferred
● CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred
● Able to give and receive feedback in a professional manner
