Front Desk Associate

Well established and growing Optometry practice in Dunbar, WV is hiring a full time associate for our front desk team. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and polite manner.
• Process patient forms, collect insurance, and parepare papework for clinic
• Data entry of patient demographics and social, medical, and prescription history
• Educate patients about testing / services offered.
• Collect co-pays and explain insurance benefits.
• Schedule follow-up visits.
• Process conctact lens orders.
• Assist patients with requests in office and on the phone.
• Open communication with patient, Doctor, and other staff.
• Maintain clean and orderly office environment.
• Contribute to practice growth goals and objectives by exemplifying excellent patient service and care.
• Ability to work as a team and handle multiple patients’ tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service.
• Basic math skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Position Details

• Full time
• Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Hourly pay based on experience.
• Training and education program to develop the right candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
