Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and managing front desk operations in a dynamic hotel or resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and check them in efficiently while ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, providing solutions to enhance their stay.
• Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly, assist with reservations, and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed and recorded.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests and address any issues that may arise during their stay.
• Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing guest records and handling cash transactions securely.
• Assist in promoting hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality management by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction in a hospitality setting.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
• Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and basic office software applications.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism and courtesy.
