About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk representative to join PT. Harapan Graha Niaga in Central Jakarta. This is a full-time position that serves as the crucial first point of contact for our guests and visitors. As a Front Desk professional, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the moment they arrive. This role is essential to our hospitality operations, directly impacting guest satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors with a warm, professional demeanour upon arrival and departure
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all administrative procedures
• Manage room reservations, amendments and cancellations with attention to detail
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about facilities, services and local attractions
• Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, working towards swift and satisfactory resolutions
• Maintain the front desk area to ensure it is clean, organised and welcoming at all times
• Manage incoming calls and direct them to appropriate departments or team members
• Process payments and manage guest accounts, ensuring financial accuracy
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to address guest needs
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, amenities and local information
• Update and maintain guest records and reservation systems accurately

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds

• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail

• Proficiency with hotel management systems and reservation software

• Fluency in English; additional languages are highly desirable

• Professional appearance and demeanour

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

• Strong problem-solving skills and a guest-centric approach to service

• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high service standards

• Customer service certification or relevant hospitality training is preferred

• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.

• Comfortable working 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM (10 working hours per shift, including break).
