In Las Vegas, we are partnering with a reputable cardiology clinic to find an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join their team.

Position Overview: As the Front Desk Receptionist at our partnered cardiology clinic, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
• Check in patients by collecting copayments, updating demographic information, and verifying insurance eligibility.
• Schedule and coordinate cardiology appointments, managing recall and no-show lists effectively.
• Process incoming referrals and direct them to the appropriate department.
• Handle petty cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Scan and import cardiology-related documents into the electronic system.
• Monitor and respond to messages from the You Call MD/Amazing portal.
• Ensure the waiting area is stocked with mints, magazines, and maintain cleanliness, including the water tank and cups.
• Sort and direct incoming mail and packages to the appropriate person or department.
• Assist in organizing and managing patient files and records for the clinic and outpatient surgery center.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
• Provide administrative support to cardiology staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and procedures.
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and terminology.
• Experience with athenahealth EHR system is a plus.
• Experience in handling petty cash transactions and basic accounting.
• Familiarity with managing online patient portals is advantageous.
• Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organized environment.
