Front Desk

Job Summary

Lux Nails Lounge is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk associate to join our team in Mequon, WI. This position is available for both Full-time and Part-time candidates. You will be the first impression of our salon — welcoming guests, managing appointments, and ensuring every client has a smooth and enjoyable experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients warmly as they arrive at the salon

• Manage client check-in and check-out using our salon POS system

• Book, confirm, and manage appointments via phone, walk-in, and online scheduling tools

• Organize and maintain the daily appointment schedule for nail technicians

• Handle client inquiries about services, pricing, and availability

• Process payments accurately through the POS system (cash, credit/debit card, gift cards)

• Make reminder calls and follow up with clients regarding upcoming appointments

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area

• Communicate effectively with nail technicians to ensure smooth workflow and on-time service

• Assist with retail product sales at the front desk

Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk, or in a salon/spa environment preferred

• Comfortable using POS systems and appointment scheduling software

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Good communication skills — bilingual (English/Vietnamese) is a plus

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Basic computer skills required
