Front desk coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our busy auto body shop. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service, managing front office operations, and supporting the daily functions of our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors and callers.

Duties

• Greet customers upon arrival and assist with their inquiries in a professional manner
• Manage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate with team to ensure timely service
• Handle customer check-ins and check-outs efficiently, including processing paperwork and payments as needed
• Keep track of customer information, repair orders, and vehicle status updates accurately
• Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence

Requirements

• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred, especially within an automotive or auto body shop setting
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly demeanor with a professional attitude
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office or similar software
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
