At Gateway Lodge, a great guest experience starts the moment someone walks through our door. We’re looking for a warm, personable, and dependable Front Desk Customer Service Associate who enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in making guests feel genuinely welcome.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our guests’ stay—from welcoming them to the lodge and helping them settle in, to answering questions, managing reservations, and making sure everything is in place for a comfortable visit.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude and provide exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Manage reservations by phone and online, providing prompt and helpful assistance.
• Explain room options, rates, amenities, policies, and payment options.
• Collect and accurately maintain guest and reservation information.
• Assign rooms and help ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
• Respond to questions, requests, and concerns with professionalism, patience, and a solutions-focused approach.
• Work closely with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and ready for arrival.
• Keep booking and payment records accurate and up to date.
• Recommend additional lodge facilities and services when appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Be a dependable, welcoming presence at the Front Desk and a positive representative of Gateway Lodge.

What We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:

• Has previous experience in hospitality, customer service, front desk, or a similar guest-facing role.
• Is comfortable learning and using hotel reservation software.
• Understands or has experience with online travel and review platforms such as Booking.com and TripAdvisor.
• Communicates clearly and enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm when things get busy.
• Approaches guest concerns with empathy and a genuine desire to help.
• Takes ownership, follows through, and works well as part of a team.
• Has a passion for creating memorable hospitality experiences.

Hotel experience is a plus, but we value attitude, reliability, and a genuine commitment to hospitality just as much.
