Perth Parkside Hotel and Spa is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and guest-focused Front Desk Manager to join our leadership team!

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Perth, our award-winning boutique hotel offers an exceptional guest experience with luxurious accommodations, a full-service spa, indoor pool, restaurant, and event facilities.

We are looking for someone who leads by example, thrives in a busy environment, and genuinely enjoys making both guests and team members feel valued.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Front Desk Manager, you will play an important role in the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring our guests receive warm, professional, and memorable service from arrival to departure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead, support, train, and motivate our Front Desk team to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Oversee daily Front Desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, billing, and guest inquiries.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure appropriate Front Desk coverage.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly, professionally, and with genuine care.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the guest experience.
• Ensure brand standards, hotel policies, and operating procedures are consistently followed.
• Assist with room inventory management, room assignments, and maximizing room revenue.
• Support staff development through ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain accurate records, daily reports, and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with implementing new processes and initiatives to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Lead by example by creating a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in hotel Front Desk operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence in handling guest concerns and finding positive solutions.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with hotel property management systems and reservation platforms.
• Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn new technology.
• A flexible approach to scheduling, including availability for some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and genuine passion for hospitality.

Experience with Best Western systems would be an asset, but is not required.
