Front Desk Medical Receptionist (3+ Years REQUIRED – Do Not Apply Otherwise)

We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist who can independently manage a busy medical office. This is not an entry-level role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high-volume front desk with professionalism and efficiency
• Handle multi-line phones and patient flow without supervision
• Schedule, coordinate, and optimize provider schedules
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations accurately
• Collect copays, post payments, and reconcile daily totals
• Process referrals, faxes, and medical records requests
• Proactively resolve scheduling or workflow issues

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE):

• Minimum 3 years of RECENT medical front office experience
• Strong, working knowledge of insurance verification & authorizations
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (must be able to learn quickly)
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment without errors
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and professionalism

Preferred (but not required):

• Bilingual (Spanish)

Compensation:

• $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience and proven ability

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
