What they need

Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator

Full-Time | Tuesday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

We are a private periodontal and implant specialty practice looking for an experienced, warm, and highly organized Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator to join our team.

We are a close-knit practice that takes pride in providing exceptional clinical care while making every patient feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for.

Our Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator is one of the first and most important points of contact for our patients. We value them dearly.

We are looking for someone who is warm, highly sociable, personable, organized, trustworthy, and comfortable taking ownership of the front office. We have a small team that works as a true team supporting each other every day, making sure patients get the best care while maintaining a work environment that feels comfortable and friendly.

You will help guide patients from their initial phone call and consultation through treatment, making sure they understand their appointments, treatment recommendations, financial responsibilities, and next steps.

What You'll Do

  • Create a warm, professional experience for patients from their first phone call through completion of treatment
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to patient questions, and schedule appointments
  • Greet, check in, and check out patients
  • Coordinate and present treatment plans clearly and confidently
  • Discuss treatment fees, financial arrangements, and payment options with patients
  • Collect and accurately post patient payments
  • Schedule treatment efficiently and help maintain a productive doctor and hygiene schedule
  • Follow up with patients who have not yet scheduled recommended treatment
  • Manage cancellations, confirmations, and short-call opportunities
  • Communicate with referring dentists and other dental offices regarding patient care, records, and appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
  • Help keep the front office organized and running efficiently
  • Work closely with the doctor, hygienists, assistants, and other team members

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has previous dental front-office experience
  • Has experience with treatment coordination and treatment presentation (training will be provided if needed)
  • Strong knowledge of Dentrix (preferred)
  • Understands dental terminology and treatment sequencing (training will be provided if needed)
  • Is comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements
  • Is warm, confident, and professional with patients
  • Has excellent phone and communication skills
  • Is organized and detail-oriented
  • Can multitask while remaining calm and professional
  • Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
  • Follows through and takes ownership of responsibilities
  • Is dependable and punctual
  • Works well as part of a close-knit team
  • Wants to become a long-term member of the practice

Periodontal, oral surgery, implant, or other dental specialty experience is a plus.

Schedule

Tuesday–Friday

7:00 AM–4:30 PM

Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays off.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience
  • Consistent four-day workweek
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Professional, patient-focused specialty practice
  • Supportive, close-knit team environment
  • Opportunity to grow with the practice and take on additional responsibility
  • Direct interaction with the doctor and involvement in the growth of the practice

The Person Who Will Thrive Here

You enjoy getting to know patients and making them feel comfortable. You're confident discussing treatment and finances without making patients feel pressured. You notice when something needs to be done and take care of it. Communication with collaborating dental offices is key.

You're equally comfortable answering the phone, discussing a treatment plan, communicating with a referring dentist, handling an insurance question, and helping the team keep the day running smoothly.

Most importantly, you take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience and want to be an important, extremely valued member of a practice.
