Front Desk Receptionist and Aide

Job Summary

PT, OT, SLP Clinic is Seeking part-timr or full-time receptionist/aide positon. Looking for someone Detail-oriented, hard working, with positive attitude, friendly and caring for patients, and able to multitask. Computer skills. Responsibilities and Duties

• Must have excellent organizational, communication and inter-personal skills.
• Welcoming patients by greeting them and processing necessary paperwork for check-in
• Managing phone calls
• Scheduling patient appointments in person and over the phone
• Confirming patient appointments
• Collecting and entering all copays into PM system
• Scanning prescriptions, faxing note to doctors, and reviewing caseloads with therapist to determine next coordination of patient treatment
• Promoting and maintaining professional work environment
• Verifying patient insurance prior to appointment
• Coordinating/assisting authorization/billing team with insurance authorization as needed for evaluations and initial evaluations, continue of treatments
• Assisting the office manager and therapists as needed
• Able to work independently

Qualifications and Skills

NOTE:

MUST have previous experience with front desk medical office!

Physical Therapy aide experience a PLUS!

Bilingual a PLUS!
