Front Desk Receptionist

About the role

L&S Fabrication is seeking a friendly, organised and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for customers, suppliers and visitors, so we are looking for someone who is professional, approachable and confident communicating with people.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate staff member.
• Greet customers, suppliers and visitors at reception and assist with general enquiries.
• Monitor and respond to incoming emails or forward them to the relevant department.
• Perform general data entry and maintain accurate records within company systems.
• Assist with entering customer, order and administrative information.
• Receive and distribute correspondence, documents and deliveries.
• Provide general administrative support to the office and management team.
• Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming reception area.
• Communicate with customers and internal staff regarding basic order or administrative enquiries when required.

About you

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A professional and friendly phone manner.
• Good computer skills, including email and general data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work.
• Confidence working independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous reception, bookkeeping, administration or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
