Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our salon located in the heart of Manhasset! Our receptionists are one of our team's most valued members, as the client's first contact is always with the front desk.

Salon Receptionist requirements/duties include but are not limited to:

• Warmly greet clients upon their arrival and walk them to their stations/stylists.
• Book appointments via phone.
• Check for appointments booked online.
• Respond to questions from clients regarding services through phone, email, or in person.
• Process transactions (cash and credit cards)
• Stock and clean product shelves
• Offer clients beverages
• Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability
• Inform clients about new services, products and discounts
• Update client profiles with contact and billing details
• Maintain a tidy reception area

Salon experience is PREFERRED but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Candidates should be well organized and able to handle clients even during times of heavy demand.

These qualifications will ensure success in the front desk receptionist role, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and assisting with retail sales and stocking duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
