Front Desk Receptionist

Overview

We are seeking a friendly, hard-working receptionist to join our ophthalmology practice. The receptionist will be guiding patients through their medical journeys, from booking appointments to checking patients in and out. Strong reference will be given to candidates who have ophthalmology office experience and who have previously used ModMed EHR. This role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The receptionist will be required to work five days a week out of our Morristown, West Orange, and Denville offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations, including patient intake and scheduling appointments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Ophthalmology office experience is strongly preferred.
• ModMed EHR experience is strongly preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
