Front Desk Receptionist

Mountain Valley Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position will be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient physical therapy office in Palo Cedro, California.

Schedule: 40 hours/week. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
Position Start: ASAP

Duties Include:

• Scheduling patients for appointments
• Processing incoming referrals
• Submitting requests for insurance authorization
• Communicating with insurance companies
• Answering and transferring incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system
• Maintaining professional phone etiquette
• General data entry and organization through an EMR system
• Supporting general front office and administrative duties
• Learning and utilizing company software and systems

Qualifications and Skills:

• Receptionist and/or physical therapy front office experience preferred
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Medical front office experience preferred
• Medical insurance knowledge preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Friendly, personable, and professional
• Works well as part of a team
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced office
• Strong attention to detail
