Front Desk Receptionist – Barbershop

About Us:
We are a busy and friendly barbershop in Pelham, Alabama, dedicated to providing a top-quality grooming experience in a welcoming environment. We’re looking for a reliable and personable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients warmly as they arrive and ensure they feel welcome
• Answer phone calls and respond to text or online inquiries
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using our booking system
• Check clients in and out efficiently
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately
• Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and organized
• Maintain records of appointments and assist barbers with daily schedules
• Promote shop services, products, and loyalty programs
• Assist with light cleaning tasks and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications:

• Friendly and professional attitude with excellent communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Basic computer skills and comfort using booking or POS systems
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Part-time position (approximately 25–30 hours/week)
• Flexible schedule including weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday (required)
• Speak English and Spanish (preferred)
