Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary

We are looking for a full time Medical Office receptionist for our multi-physician, high volume, fast-paced oncology practice located at Vineland, NJ

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties including but not limited to copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.
• Welcomes and greets patients/clients/visitors to the practice.
• Schedules appointment, enters patient demographics, check-in, check-out
• answering phones
• Obtain insurance information from patient
• obtaining insurance referrals, eligibility and verification
• Collect patient balances, co-pays/ deductibles at time of service.
• Exercises problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patient complaints.
• Performs other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Two or more years of medical office experience required. Bilingual preferred.
• Candidate must have the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
• Provide exemplary customer service , proper telephone etiquette and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must demonstrate flexibility willing to be cross trained as a dedicated team player.
• Candidate must possess proficient typing and computer skills with a working knowledge of EMR's and Navinet.
• Knowledge of insurance plans
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
• Patience and compassion for our patients

Full time position, 40 hour work week, with benefits, no evenings, no weekends. Salary will be based off experience and work performance

$500 bonus for applicants who remain employed past the 90 day.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
