Front Desk Receptionist

About the Role

We are looking for a polished, friendly, and professional Receptionist / Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for Goat Global Dispensary. You will help create a welcoming and organized experience for every customer while ensuring that all guests are properly checked in and that front-desk operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. You should have excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to remain calm and helpful while assisting multiple customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Check customer identification and verify eligibility in accordance with California cannabis regulations
• Manage the front entrance, waiting area, and customer flow
• Check customers in and direct them to the appropriate area of the dispensary
• Answer phones, respond to general customer questions, and provide basic information about store policies
• Assist customers with general questions about products, promotions, hours, and services
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
• Communicate with budtenders, management, and security to ensure smooth customer flow
• Help manage customer lines and wait times during busy periods
• Assist with customer concerns and escalate issues to management when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and complete required front-desk procedures
• Follow all company policies and California cannabis compliance requirements
• Monitor the lobby and immediately communicate any safety or security concerns to management
• Support the team with general administrative and retail tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous receptionist, front desk, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Spanish Bilingual Preferred
• Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor
• Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of customers
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to pass all applicable employment and compliance requirements

Because this position is the first point of contact for our customers, candidates should maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance while on shift. Employees are expected to arrive well-groomed, presentable, and dressed in accordance with company dress standards.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
