Front Desk Receptionist

Mumbai Eye Care is looking for a friendly, professional, and well-organized Receptionist to join our eye hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for patients while efficiently managing front-desk and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients and visitors at the reception desk.
• Register new patients and update patient records accurately.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and patient queries.
• Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, technicians, and other hospital staff.
• Manage billing, payments, receipts, and basic cash-handling activities.
• Guide patients through the registration, consultation, investigation, and billing process.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and communicate with patients when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Perform other routine administrative duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, diagnostic centre, or healthcare reception preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant personality with a patient-friendly attitude.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office.
• Ability to handle multiple patients and tasks efficiently.
• Good spoken English and Hindi; Marathi and gujarati would be an advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
• Candidates with experience in an eye hospital/ophthalmology clinic will be preferred.
