Front Desk Receptionist

South Orange County Animal Hospital is recruiting to form a team that will provide excellent patient care, client service, and foster a respectful and collegiate environment.

Requirements:

· Be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.

· Be available to work Saturdays.

· Be able to multitask and work under pressure.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Making and receiving phone calls to schedule appointments, obtain medication refill requests, take messages, and answer basic medical questions.

· Determine whether an appointment is urgent or an emergency and getting patients the help they need accordingly

· Document and record all interactions and communications in the medical record

· Ability to communicate with clients in stressful/difficult situations, maintain professionalism, and still provide excellent customer service

· Maintain a clean working environment.

· Demonstrating attention to detail and organization.

· Exhibiting honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.

· Be able to clearly communicate with team members and clients

· Good phone etiquette

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
