Front Desk Receptionist

LA LUZ MENTAL HEALTH is a small group, focused on mental health. Our main objective is to restore the client's skills and abilities essential for independent living. Also to restore social skills and functional capabilities.

We are looking for a proactive, responsible, punctual, and bilingual assistant manager. The candidate must be able to work as a team, with good expressive skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft.

Job description:

• Overseeing the work of all office employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards.
• Responsible for providers (Psychiatric NPs and Therapists) schedule.
• Excellent follow-up to ensure that employees stay on task.
• Responsible for insurance verification, obtaining insurance authorizations, and collecting copays from clients.
• Answering telephone calls and emails from customers and clients and directing them to relevant staff
• Creating an office budget and ensuring all employees follow it
• Subbmit claims to insurances and keep record of it.
• Monitoring office supplies and ordering new stationery, appliances, and electronics as required
• Interviewing and training new office employees and organizing their employment paperwork.
• Reporting office progress to senior management and working with them to improve office operations and procedures.
• Organize and schedule all office meetings
• Assist clinic’s management with hiring, terminations, and performance reviews
• Ability to handle medical records discreetly.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
• Communication skills and a customer service orientation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
