Front Desk Receptionist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Essential Functions:

• Greet and welcome patients warmly upon arrival
• Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately
• Collect and process payments for services and products
• Answer phones professionally, direct calls, and handle inquiries
• Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals and manage patient flow
• Maintain office supplies and monitor equipment needs
• Learn and manage inventory of office and skincare products
• Verify patient health benefits with insurance providers
• Manage medical records and referrals efficiently
• Keep the reception area clean and organized
• Collaborate effectively within the team to meet shared goals

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• English/Spanish bilingual requirement
• 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred
• Dermatology experience is a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
