Front Desk Receptionist

Seeking to hire a happy, outgoing team member for our open veterinary reception/front desk position!

We are a small animal veterinary practice in Villa Rica, GA. Our hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:30. Closed daily from 1:00-2:00pm for lunch.

As our receptionist, you would be the first and last point of contact for our hospital. This requires a team member with exceptional customer service skills and a pleasant personality. Our reception duties include, but are not limited to, welcoming/greeting our clients and their companion animals, coordinating front desk activities (managing multiple phone lines, redirecting phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing emails, invoicing/billing, ability to deal with emergencies). Multitasking skills are a must for this position. Our receptionist's are required to execute all administrative tasks with a smile and maintain a hospitable environment for our clients and their pets.

Skills:

-Proven work experience as a receptionist (previous veterinary reception experience preferred)

-Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machine, printer, scanner, etc.)

-Excellent organizational/multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

-Customer service attitude

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Professional attitude and appearance

-Ability to be proactive when issues arise

-High school diploma with previous office experience (especially veterinary) is a plus
