Front Desk Receptionist

Bright Pediatrics is a dedicated pediatric practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for children and families. Our friendly team works together to create a welcoming and supportive environment for our patients. We are seeking a warm, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient office flow
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays and other payments
• Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries with excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and faxing documents
• Coordinate communication between patients, parents, providers, and medical staff
• Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification (a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• A warm, patient-focused attitude with attention to detail
