Front Desk Receptionist

Awesome Paws Pet Salon is looking for a warm, organized, dependable full time receptionist to join our Olmsted Falls dog salon. If you love animals, thrive on staying on top of the details, and genuinely enjoy taking care of people, we'd like to meet you.

Awesome Paws is a locally owned pet grooming business built on three things we take seriously: empathy, integrity, and transparency. Our reception team is the first face our clients and their dogs see — and the steady hand that keeps the salon running smoothly all day.

What You'll Do

• Greet clients and their dogs at check-in and pickup, setting a warm, welcoming tone
• Answer phones, book and confirm appointments, and manage the daily schedule
• Handle payments and keep client records accurate and up to date
• Communicate clearly with groomers to keep the day flowing on time
• Field client questions and follow up on report cards and post-visit touchpoints
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, organized, and running like clockwork

What We're Looking For

• A friendly, professional presence — comfortable with both people and dogs
• Professional animal experience preferred (grooming salon, veterinary, boarding, shelter, or similar)
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual; someone the team can count on
• Comfortable with phones, scheduling software, and basic computer tasks
• Calm under pressure on busy days
• Prior reception or customer service experience is a plus

The Details

• Schedule: Full time- Tuesday- Saturday mid morning to close
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
