Front Desk Receptionist - Part Time

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients both in person and over the phone. The Cat Hospital is a well-respected cat only clinic. You’ll play a key role in supporting our veterinary team by managing appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival
• Answer and manage incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups efficiently
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Keep client and patient records up to date in our system
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, wait times, and pet care instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front office area
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception setting preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally charged environment
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
• A genuine love for animals and empathy for pet owners
