Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Guest Relations Associate to join our dynamic Fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and maintaining the overall presentation of the Gym.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash register transactions accurately.
• Perform cash handling duties, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and securely.
• Assist in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and Gym policies to effectively communicate with customers.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
• Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns via phone.
• Keep the Gym floor organized, clean, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring staff is advantageous but not mandatory.
