Part-Time Office Assistant — Aasta Hospice

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (5 hours/day)

Pay: $12.00/hour

About the Role

Aasta Hospice is seeking a dependable, responsible individual to maintain a consistent daytime office presence at our San Antonio location. This is a low-pressure, independent role well suited to someone who wants steady part-time income while having the flexibility to study, read, or work on personal projects during downtime.

You'll be the only person in the office during your shift, so we're looking for someone trustworthy, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Be physically present in the office during all scheduled hours
• Might complete occasional light administrative tasks (not often)
• Maintain a professional, tidy office environment
• Report any building or facility issues to management

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation to and from the office
• Punctual and dependable — consistent attendance is essential
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Basic professionalism for occasional visitor interaction (not often)
