About Train4Life

Train4Life is expanding into a new fitness and recreation facility in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Our facility will combine traditional fitness and training with basketball and pickleball courts, golf simulators, recreational leagues, skills training, group programming, and facility rentals.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Front Desk Associate to help create a great experience for every member, athlete, parent, guest, and renter who walks through our doors.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and has an interest in fitness, sports, recreation, or customer service.

Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Associate, you will help with the day-to-day operation of the facility, including:

• Greeting and assisting members, guests, athletes, parents, and facility renters
• Checking members and guests into the facility
• Answering questions regarding memberships, court rentals, golf simulators, leagues, training programs, and facility services
• Helping customers with court and golf simulator reservations
• Answering phone calls and responding to basic customer inquiries
• Assisting with payments, registrations, waivers, and program information
• Monitoring scheduled court, simulator, league, and recreation activities
• Helping ensure rentals and programs begin and end on schedule
• Communicating facility rules and policies professionally
• Assisting customers with basic golf simulator setup and troubleshooting
• Supporting league and recreation operations when needed
• Keeping the front desk, lobby, and common areas organized and presentable
• Performing light cleaning and facility upkeep during shifts
• Communicating facility issues or customer concerns to management
• Helping create a welcoming, professional, and positive atmosphere throughout the facility

• Reliable and punctual
• Organized and able to multitask
• Comfortable working independently when necessary
• Able to remain professional in a busy sports and fitness environment
• Comfortable learning reservation, membership, and point-of-sale software
• Able to communicate effectively with adults, athletes, parents, and children
• Willing to help wherever needed during a shift
• Interested in fitness, basketball, pickleball, golf, recreation, or sports

Previous front desk, customer service, gym, recreation, hospitality, or sports facility experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Availability

Applicants should have flexible part-time availability.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred.

Because many of our leagues, rentals, programs, and recreational activities take place outside of normal business hours, candidates who can consistently work nights and weekends will receive strong consideration.

Physical Requirements

This position may occasionally require:

• Standing or walking for extended periods
• Moving light equipment
• Setting up or organizing recreation equipment
• Assisting with basic facility setup and cleanup
• Lifting approximately 25–40 lbs when necessary
