Front Desk Supervisor

People person? Organised? Great at keeping a team smiling and a busy day running like clockwork? We might just have the job for you.

We’re looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join the team at Highlands Motorsport Park and take the lead at one of the busiest and most important hubs of our operation.  Our Front Desk is so much more than a reception desk. It’s where the Highlands experience begins.

On any given day you could be welcoming visitors from around the world, coordinating track experiences, keeping our Pro Drivers and bookings on schedule, looking after our members, supporting your team and making sure every guest leaves Highlands thinking “that was brilliant.”

About the Role:

You’ll lead our Front Desk team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the department, making sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently and — most importantly — with the exceptional service Highlands is known for.

You’ll be involved in everything from:

• Leading, coaching and supporting the Front Desk team
• Creating an awesome experience for every person who walks through our doors
• Coordinating bookings, track experiences and our Pro-Driving team
• Keeping the day organised when there are plenty of moving parts
• Working alongside other departments across Highlands
• Supporting sales and making sure the team knows our products inside and out
• Cash handling, reconciliations and some accounts administration
• Maintaining high standards of presentation, communication and Health & Safety

There’s plenty of variety — and very little chance of being bored!

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t necessarily need to be a motorsport expert. What we really want is someone who genuinely enjoys people.  You’ll be confident, friendly and approachable, with the ability to lead a team and create a positive environment around you. You’ll be highly organised, comfortable juggling several things at once and able to stay calm when the day gets busy.

You’ll notice the little things, take pride in doing things well and understand the difference between simply providing customer service and creating a great experience.

We work hard, we have high standards and some days are wonderfully hectic — but we also have a lot of fun along the way.

The Details:

• Full-time, permanent role based in stunning Central Otago with a minimum of 32 hours per week
• Must be available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holidays
