Front Desk/Host

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk
• Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
• Answer phone calls and take orders, make reservations or direct catering questions to manager
• Provide information about menu
• Respond to guest complaints or concerns with empathy and inform management
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Help carry out take out orders in and out of the kitchen
• Pack sushi orders as needed
• Must be available on December 24 (Christmas Eve) and January 31 (New Year's Eve)

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a customer service role
• Familiarity with phone and POS systems, and basic computer skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in guest information and reservation records

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
