Job Title: Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist

The Nest Family Wellness is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting the medical team with various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using electronic health records (EHR)
• Verify patient insurance coverage and collect co-pays and payments
• Enter patient data and medical history into the EHR system
• Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and assist with medical procedures as needed
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment and exam rooms
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order as needed
• Assist with billing and coding tasks
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing and coding preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
