Front Desk/Optical Assistant

Our high volume Optometric Practice is looking for a very energetic, outgoing, detail oriented person who enjoys working with the public, follows instructions well and who is a team player. We are looking for someone with an outstanding telephone voice to answer the telephone and make appointments on our computer software system. Responsibilities include checking patients in and out, making phone calls to insurance companies and verifying patient's insurance. You will also learn Optometric/Optical terms and will eventually be cross trained in our Optical and Contact Lens area. Sales experience is a plus. Family oriented atmosphere with others who are dedicated to providing excellent patient care. This position is great for the person who is looking for a career in patient care in a growing and modern optometric practice! Must be reliable, dependable, and willing to help others.
