Front Desk/Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our busy ophthalmology practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, clients, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
• Answer multi-line phones, direct calls appropriately, and respond to inquiries.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance information as needed.
• Update and maintain patient and referral information in the electronic records system.
• Prepare and deliver marketing materials, updates, or announcements to referring offices when needed.
• Assist with front desk administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
• Represent the practice professionally at all times in the community and with external partners.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a front desk, referral coordination, or provider relations role.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
