Front Door Host/Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. We are open Tuesday through Saturday evenings. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
• Facilitate carry out orders by taking carry out orders and assisting guests to pick up and pay for their orders.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
• Experience in hospitality settings or restaurants is advantageous.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
