Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management
• Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism and clarity
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience
• Handle phone inquiries courteously, providing information about store products or services while maintaining proper phone etiquette
• Support sales goals through proactive upselling techniques and promoting current promotions or new products
• Ensure the checkout area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in restaurants or similar environments with high customer interaction
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team members or training new staff
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic retail math is essential for accurate transactions
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette will help foster positive customer relationships
• Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling, and stock management will support your success in this role
